Lumber Link is sold in Kits. (1) Porch Kit which will make (1) frame (less lumber). The Kit contains the following items:
(1) Upper porch hanger
(1) Lower porch hanger
(1) Rigid frame hanger
(2) Anchor bolts
(13) Lag bolts
(4) Washers
(2) Common nuts
(2) Jam nuts
- The maximum height of an Upper Porch Hanger is determined by the height of your existing building.
- The maximum length of a porch extension is 15 feet.
- Bay spacing determined using snow load tables.
- The pitch of the roof is determined by you. The standard minimum pitc is 4-12. (For every 12 inches of horizontal run, 4 inches of drop is needed.)
- Total Purlin Clips needed for a 15 foot extension is seven. Roof Purlins are ordered separately.
- A Rigid Foot Anchor is often used in this application
